The Art in Motion – And the Voice That Moves the World

There are moments when art transcends the canvas, the stage, or the screen—and becomes motion itself. The BBC’s Arts in Motion project is a striking reminder of this truth: that movement, light, voice, and the human soul are never separate things, but one and the same when expressed through true artistry (and with a healthy vocal technique).

As singers, we don’t simply produce sound—we give form to emotion through air, resonance, and intention. The voice is art in motion. And it deserves to be trained not just for power or pitch, but for meaning.

Breathing Life into the Voice: the Art of Inspiration: Healthy Breathing and Breath Support

Breath is not just the fuel for the voice. It is the bridge between body and soul.

This is why every great vocal tradition—from the old Italian school of Singing to modern stagecraft—begins with breath support and healthy breathing technique. It’s also why I created an extensive and intensive breathing and breath support course on MasterTheArtOfSinging.com and the Bellucci Conservatory of Vocal Art: to offer singers a clear, guided path toward mastering their instrument with elegance, confidence, and scientific understanding. Based on the Italian School of Singing ànd on scientific proof and medical research. Inspiring ànd clear, step by step.

Why would the Italian School and medical research be important for breathing and breath support, and why would you not use a more modern “method”?
Because the old voice master teachers in the times of the old Italian School were other teachers than today. They had so much medical expertise, that for instance Manuel García, vocal coach, invented the laringoscope, a medical instrument still used by ENT doctors at this time. There was no auto-tune, there were no studios, no mics. Singers had to really sing. That makes the Italian School by itself already a medically proven institution: no vagueness, just clear and proven methods of breathing that are the foundation of every style of voice use and singing.

So our online programs go far beyond simple singing tips. They are rooted in classical breath support, informed by medical interviews, and designed for serious students of any genre—opera, jazz, musical theatre, or pop. Our first three foundation programs together boost more thatn 900 lessons, inspiring and challenging for the singer that takes himself serious.

The Metropolitan Opera – A Symbol of Artistic Integrity

The Metropolitan Opera has always held a special place in my heart.

It is not only a temple of grand voices—it is a living monument to what is possible when tradition, discipline, and inspiration come together. Every artist on that stage is the result of thousands of hours of refinement and dedication.

While not everyone will perform at the Metropolitan Opera New York, every voice can strive for that same integrity. This spirit—of excellence, of beauty, of breath as art—lives in the foundation of every course I’ve created.

From New York to Italy – My Journey in Vocal Art

The vision behind these programs was shaped by a journey across continents, cultures, and disciplines.

I studied voice with Stephen Schwarz, tenor at the Metropolitan Opera New York and trained in New York with Joan Lader, Broadway’s most sought-after vocal coach. I studied piano with Forrest Kinney, and learned a lot about Alexander Technique and breathing by Jessica Wolf, teacher at the Yale School of Drama.

From performances in Europe and South America to working at Walt Disney World Florida, my journey brought me both classical roots and modern versatility. These experiences became the foundation of Master the Art of Singing—and everything I now love sharing with singers worldwide!
