PERFORMANCE AGENDA Semi Finals And More About the YPF European Piano Competition 2025

In a month it’s time!

The YPF European Piano Competition 2025 will start at the end of February. From Wednesday 26 February, 20 candidates from 8 European countries will compete for a place in the semi-finals on 4 and 5 March in the BIMHUIS and ultimately for that coveted place in the Grande Finale on 9 March in the Muziekgebouw.

You can experience it all. These young talents deserve a great audience!
Follow our candidates live in the BIMHUIS during the quarter-finals from Wednesday February 26 to Saturday March 1. Admission is free and entry is free.

Each participant received a specific number (drawn by a notary). This number remains associated with the participant throughout the entire competition. The lowest number always starts first.

In this newsletter you will find more information about the schedule of the quarter-finals. It is good to know that the announcement of the 8 semi-finalists will take place on Saturday afternoon, March 1, by the international jury in the BIMHUIS.

The participants have already had to choose what they will play in the Final if that happens. Because the three finalists will only be announced on Wednesday afternoon, March 5, it remains exciting until the last minute what the program for the Grande Finale on Sunday, March 9 will be… not only for the audience but also for Phion, Orchestra of Gelderland & Overijssel conducted by the conductor.
