Welcome
I am an international vocalist, pianist, researcher and peaker and have performed in over 15 countries in three continents (a.o. with Andrea Bocelli) and worked with directors like Eugene Kohn, former repetitor of Maria Callas (see pictures). I have been asked to teach, coach and adjudicate worldwide.
I studied Classical Voice and Musical Theatre and Piano, and devoted my life to researching the relation between psychology and the voice and artistry. Before my musical path, I graduated in International Business Administration and Clinical Psychology. After Conservatory, I continued to pursue higher learning with world-class vocal pedagogues in order to further my knowledge and provide excellent instruction to my students.
I created the Art of Singing and the Art of the Piano in order to serve vocalists, pianists and teachers all over the world who are as motivated as I am to continue learning and honing their craft with passion, curiosity and a hunger for new knowledge.

Crossover vocalist
Irene de Raadt-Bellucci sings a broad range of music. She was taught by Margreet Honig, Stephen Schwarz (tenor at Metropolitan Opera New York), Maria Rondél and Juanita Gilbert. She then followed Master Classes and lessons at the Accademia Nazionale di Belcanto in Italy, amongst others with Astrea Amaduzzi and in New York from Joan Lader. She played Maria in West Side Story and performed with Andrea Bocelli. Irene has performed as a soloist all over the world, including for HRH King Willem-Alexander, HRH Prince Albert of Monaco, Sting, and many others. Besides opera and musical theatre she also sings world music such as Spanish boleros, Brazilian bossas, Argentinian Tangos and Portuguese Fado.

Vocal Coach
Since 2003, Irene is also a much sought-after singing teacher who now also teaches in many other countries. After an international career as a vocalist, she teaches in Amstelveen, Italy and the United States (Orlando, Boston and New York) Her students featured in La Traviata, Soldaat van Oranje, Prinses Christina Concours, the Sound of Music, the Lion King, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Orchestra of the Netherlands: Op Weg naar the Concertgebouw, the Voice of Holland, the Voice of Britain, Una Voce Particolare, and many more. A singing lesson with Irene is not your average singing lesson. Singers are accompanied by herself on the grand piano where she plays all accompaniment a prima vista. Her enthusiasm, knowledge, experience, humor and involvement make her a valued teacher. In each lesson, the singer gathers new knowledge, insights into voice use and tools to sing better, easier and healthier. Singing lessons are for motivated, adult singers from the age of 16 after intake and a trial lesson.

Piano Coach
Irene also teaches piano to motivated students of all ages. She studied piano with Hans Wilkeshuis in Amstelveen and at the Conservatory of Alkmaar (popular music) and Amsterdam (classical). In the US she was taught by Forrest Kinney. She teaches both in-studio and online piano lessons to students from all over the world. There is an upright Yamaha piano and a (brand new) Kawai grand piano in the studio. A solid, clear structure in the lessons means that many aspects are covered. In addition to method books, attention is paid to playing posture, improvisation, chords, music theory, interpretation, rhythms and quatre mains playing. Most students can play the first movement of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata after a year. The fun is important, but (daily) practice of cours, is too. Every year there is a concert by the students, for a good cause.

Speaker
Having studied both Voice, Piano, Business Management and Psychology, being a member of Mensa, and speaking multiple languages, Irene works as a speaker and host for literarary, cultural, academic and business events, summits and concerts. She hosted summits and events for World Wildlife Fund, Huawei, University of Amsterdam, Mensa International, Boekenbal, Orange Babies and more.
